# How to Use AI Answers on Anycase.ai

Ask Anycase a legal question to receive an AI-generated answer with supporting references. Use those references to check the answer and continue your research in the original legal documents.
## **Before you start**
Sign in at [anycase.ai/app](https://anycase.ai/app). Prepare the question, relevant facts, and any case or law identifiers. Access and usage are subject to your account and plan.
## **Ask a question**
1\. Select New Chat and enter your question in the chat box. For example: “Explain res judicata under Philippine law and identify the requirements for its application.”

2\. Select an answer mode using the mode button. Standard v2 is the initial mode shown in the current app.
3\. Open Manage Sources if you want to focus on particular legal libraries, courts, or agencies. Otherwise, let Anycase choose sources automatically.
4\. Submit the question and read the response.
5\. Open the citation links to inspect the supporting references. Check the identity, date, and relevant passage of each authority you intend to rely on.z

## **Refine your research**
Ask a follow-up in the same conversation to request a clearer explanation, additional authorities, or a different format. Correct missing or misunderstood facts before asking Anycase to develop the analysis further.
You can use Enhance query before submitting to help rewrite the text in the chat box into a clearer English query. Review the rewrite to make sure it preserves your meaning.
## **Find earlier answers**
Select Search Chats in the sidebar to search your conversation history. Open the relevant conversation to review its discussion and continue from there.
## **Common questions**
**Are AI answers guaranteed to be accurate?**
No. An answer may contain errors, omit relevant sources, or require more factual context. Citations help you verify the analysis; they do not remove the need to review it.
**Can I ask a complex question?**
Yes. Include the relevant context and specify the output you need. Breaking a large task into related questions can make the research easier to review.
