What is DocDraft?

DocDraft is a Word-like editor inside Anycase that connects your legal research directly to drafting. Instead of researching in one place and drafting somewhere else, DocDraft lets you move from finding the law to working with it in the same workspace. Because DocDraft is connected to Anycase’s Philippine legal library and your research, it can help you prepare first drafts with the relevant legal context already in view.


With DocDraft, you can:

  • Generate first drafts of legal documents
  • Draft boilerplate documents with Philippine legal requirements in mind
  • Review existing drafts for missing provisions or legal support
  • Add the legal basis for a selected provision
  • Link supporting legal sources directly to your work
  • Carry research from Anycase into your drafting workflow



One of the key differences between DocDraft and a general-purpose AI writing tool is its connection to Anycase’s legal research system.


When working on a provision, you can ask Anycase to identify or add the legal basis supporting it.This allows you to move between drafting and verification without leaving the Anycase workspace.


Where a supporting authority is available, you can review the source directly and determine whether it supports the language or position in your draft.


Responsible use of DocDraft


DocDraft may work with information you provide through prompts, research, uploaded files, and other materials in your Anycase workspace. That information may include personal data, privileged communications, confidential business information, or information relating to third parties.


Before using sensitive or confidential information in DocDraft, make sure you have the appropriate authority to use that information with Anycase and that doing so is consistent with your professional, contractual, and organizational obligations.


Please avoid using DocDraft with content that:

  • You do not have the right or authority to disclose or process
  • Would violate applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or professional obligations
  • Breaches confidentiality, privilege, or contractual restrictions
  • Infringes the privacy, intellectual property, or other rights of another person
  • Otherwise violates Anycase’s applicable terms or policies

Is DocDraft a replacement for lawyer review?


No. DocDraft is designed to assist with research, first drafts, document review, and legal support. 


AI-generated content may still contain errors, omit relevant facts or authorities, or require changes based on the circumstances of a particular matter. You should review the final document, verify important citations and legal authorities, and apply your own professional judgment before relying on or using any generated content.


DocDraft is intended to make the drafting process more efficient, not replace the lawyer responsible for the work.

Who can use DocDraft?


DocDraft is available to Pro and Pro Team users. Free users also have limited access to the feature.
