How to Search a Legal Query Using an Image

Attach an image to give Anycase context for a legal question. For example, you can ask it to explain wording shown in a clear screenshot or identify the issues raised by a photographed passage.

Note: File Uploads (document files) are now available in Pro plans. For other plans, you may use the workaround below.

Before you start

Sign in at anycase.ai/app. Prepare a clear image and make sure you have permission to submit its contents. Feature availability depends on your account and plan.

Attach an image and ask a question

1. Open a new chat or the conversation where you want to use the image.
2. Select Add image or file near the bottom of the chat box.
3. Choose Image from the menu and select the image from your device.
4. Check the attachment before submitting your question.
5. Type a specific instruction, such as: “Explain the clause shown in this image and identify the Philippine legal authorities relevant to it.”
6. Submit the question. Review the response and compare any extracted wording against the image.
Use a well-lit image with readable text. If the relevant passage is difficult to read, provide a clearer image or type the passage into your question.

Common questions

Can I attach a document instead?
Yes. The same menu has a File option for document uploads. See What is File Upload for supported document formats and limits and plans.
Can I rely on the extracted text without checking it?
Review it first, especially names, dates, amounts, and clause numbers. Image quality can affect what Anycase reads.
What if I cannot see the upload option?
Check that you are signed in. Contact support with your plan and a description of what you see so we can help confirm availability.
